A new occupation has consumed my senses
A damsel of particular imports and spark
A maid that might be called of the mar
As in fact she does live by the sea
Absolutely magnificent I find her
Her cheeks and eyes a beauty to see
It is of coarse an interesting marvel
That she resides on an opposite shore to me
This mermaid I speak of comes from mystery
She appeared of the berth of an old friend
Quite a marvelous mermaid I’ve found
As she shares the fine kinship with he
A man of laughter and loads of light
He is a man never shy to share a pint
They are both the best of people to find
Though it’s still a marvel the girl won’t leave my mind
This fish of sorts captures my senses still
I find her voice full of life and love
I cannot only but long for the day
That I fly to her much like a dove
If I am a man to have my way
Or even a frog I will jump to stay
Not on this side of the pond
No more exactly on that
The side that would put me by hers
Only because my beating chest
She forever stirs
